Family Ties - West Michigan photography

I had the opportunity to photograph a family that is very special to me. My cousin Ju and I grew up very close. We were like sister's and she truly was my best friend as a child. She was my "go-to" person and I shared ALL my secrets, fears and joys with her. Knowing always, she would never judge me or look down on me. She was a great support for me and I sometimes think I may not have gotten through some of troubles and heartaches with out her. She lived about 90 miles from me and we didn't get to see each other real frequently...but when we did, the rest of the world disappeared! I love her dearly to this day, she is a part of my heart, a part of my history and a part of my future.

Well, we are all grown up and we each have beautiful family's and I feel honored and blessed to have been able to capture her family for her.
