new members to the prop family - west michigan child photographer

So, I've done just a little bit of prop shopping and have found a couple of really cute items that will be so fun to use at a session!

The little antique school chair (she threw in the cute little feather hat as well) I bought from my Aunt Linda at her store Holden's Home Emporium. They buy, fix up and sell furniture and other goodies. Loads of vintage goodness! I could seriously get lost in her store. You should go check them out. Great prices on new furniture as well. If you go see her...tell her Kristen sent ya : )

the desk...oh, that was pure luck. I had to go to the bank and decided on the way back home to just stop into our local Goodwill...and there she was, in all her lovely goldeness! Picked up a few vintage feeling jewelry pieces. Oh, the broach...my daughter wanted, that also came from Aunt Linda.

Of course as always...when I get something new I just HAVE to test it and as always my kids (usually my poor daughter) gets to be my guinea pigs...umm...I mean, my models...lol

Anywho...just wanted to share my finds...enjoy : )

as a side note, if you like the textures I use in my images...I use 99.5% of the time Jessica Drossin's...I have all 3 of her packs and trust me...they are to die for : )
