My Rock Star - Michigan Child Photographer

I've had this idea for awhile now, this session with my son. Due to the bitter cold, it just wasn't happening. So today, with the slight warm up...we jumped on it!! Didn't get to the area I had originally planned on shooting at (really deep snow) so we improvised..and honestly, I love how it turned out. We trudged through some deep snow to get here (some places up to my knees). We had fun...shot for about 20 minutes since he had no coat on...I know bad mommy..but he didn't complain.

Show my boy some love will ya...leave a comment for him here..(he will LOVE it) you know how these tween boys need to have their egos stroked a little.

Project 52 - week 3 │ Michigan Photographer

ugh...this week was H.A.R.D for me! Inspiration for this week just wasn't flowing. However...I pulled it out.....

I have always loved anything "crafty". I used to create things ALL the time. Then along came the kids and out went my time. I sure didn't mind, as my kids are my world. However, now they are getting to where they don't require as much of Mom's time and I have found myself craving being the creative being that I am. So this weekend, I started making some fabric flowers to use for hair pieces. I didn't go to the craft store, I just found "scraps" around the house. Are they perfect...oh NO..but it was fun and it felt good. In comes the inspiration...things that I love, things that make me, ME!!! Just a few little trinkets here and there...and my fave corner of my home.

So first couple of images...the flowers and a headband...which of course my sweet girl had to model for me. Second group...pieces of me. I love beautiful bottles, little trinket boxes and a couple meaningful items. The last group of images is my FAB-U-LOUS new camera bag that my Mom got me for Christmas. It is to die for handmade and I LOVE it!!! Thanks Mom!!!
